About me
Antonio M. Romera Molina stands out as a conductor and composer for his ability to extract a unique sound from the groups he conducts, even in the most complex works for band and orchestra. His talent for creating unpublished, original concert programs with a coherent line has earned him significant recognition in the musical field.
Born in Motril (Granada), Romera Molina holds a higher degree in Horn and Orchestra Conducting from the Conservatories of Córdoba and Málaga. He complemented his training with studies in Band Conducting at the (ISEB) Instituto Superior Bandístico de Trento (ISEB) in Italy. With more than 35 years of experience, he has conducted orchestras and bands in Spain, Italy and Portugal. From 2002 to 2024, he was the principal conductor of the Motril Municipal Band, the "Filarmónica" Chamber Orchestra and the Mediterranean Symphony Orchestra, leaving a deep mark on the region.

As a composer, his work is characterized by its boldness, innovation and creativity, developing daring pieces with a fresh and contemporary language. Several of his compositions have been finalists in national competitions, consolidating his reputation in avant-garde music.
In the field of arrangements, Romera Molina has recorded more than 125 works, adding fresh elements to each one without losing its original essence. His ability to adapt to the needs of each group allows him to make precise adjustments that optimize the interpretation, guaranteeing outstanding quality in each arrangement.
Together with the Motril Municipal Band, he has published three albums, and his affiliation with the A.N.D.B. and the S.G.A.E. reinforces his influence in music and artistic direction. His career continues to be a reference in the world of music and the direction of symphonic groups.
